For Those with Business Point Access

You can only access the extranet via an internal link on Business Point after logging in to that site.

For Chevron Employees

In order to log in to the Image Standards and Resources extranet, you must first create an account. Once your account is established you only need to log in using established email user ID and password.  If you are an employee and this is your first time at the website, follow the instructions below:

  1. Go to http://www.ChevronImage.com.
  2. Click "Registration".
  3. Enter your information for all fields in the registration form.  Be sure to use your @chevron.com email address.  Validation of a working @chevron.com email account identifies you as an employee or embedded contractor and is mandatory. Access will not be granted without a working @chevron email account. The email address will serve as your User ID.
  4. Click "Register".  You will be brought to a screen that confirms your successful registration input.  You will still need to validate your email address.
  5. After a few moments, check your @chevron.com email.  Open and follow the instructions in the email from *@chevronimage.com with the subject: "Chevron Image Account Activation: Confirm your email address".
  6. Upon validating your email, follow the link in the left navigation area to the login page.
  7. Enter your email address user ID and password.
  8. Click "Submit".
  9. For future visits to the Image Standards & Resources extranet you need only enter your email user ID and password.  To change your password see instructions for Top Menu Bar > My Account. Please note that a change of user ID is not possible for employees.

 

Sponsored Non-Employee Access

If you are not a Chevron employee and cannot log on to Business Point (i.e. you do not have access to that website) you must obtain a Chevron employee sponsor (someone with a valid @chevron.com email) to gain access to the website.  You will be prompted for your sponsor's email address as part of the registration process and they must approve access request as part of process.  Non-employee registrations will expire 12 months after approval, after which time you will have to re-register and your sponsor will need to re-approve you.

  1. Go to http://www.ChevronImage.com.
  2. Click "Registration".
  3. Enter your information for all fields in the registration form. You must provide a valid working email address that will serve as your user ID.
  4. Click "Register". You will be prompted for your sponsor's @chevron.com email address.  Enter it twice in the fields provided.
  5. You will be brought to a screen that confirms your registration input was successful.  You will still need to validate your email address.
  6. After a few moments, check your email.  Follow the instructions in the email from *@chevronimage.com with the subject: "Chevron Image Account Activation: Confirm your email address".
  7. You will be presented with a screen confirming your email address has been successfully validated and that your registration request is pending approval by your sponsor.
  8. After your sponsor responds to your request, you will receive an email stating that you have been denied or approved access permissions.
  9. Should you be approved, follow the link in the email to the login page.
  10. Enter your email user ID and password.
  11. Click "Submit".
  12. For future visits to the Image Standards and Resources extranet you need only enter your email user ID and password.  To change your email user ID (re-register) or password, see instructions for Top Menu Bar > My Account.
